Marcus (48), a has lived and has ran his own small business in the Constituency for 23 years and is also a director of a renewable energy company. A proud father of three Marcus first got involved and elected in local politics at the age of 26 but returned just a few years ago after time out concentrating on business and family life.
Marcus has chaired his local Chamber of Trade on two occasions and as a Councillor was always heavily involved in local issues. Far from being part of the establishment, Marcus has witnessed what a good constituency MP can achieve and wants to do the same for the communities of Bridgwater and West Somerset. Marcus wants to help. Whether this be protecting our environment, our NHS and social care, our schools, our public transport as well as helping both large and small businesses and their employees. Marcus believes in liberal values and social justice.
Marcus believes that Bridgwater and West Somerset needs a better MP that not only represents all the communities in the constituency but one who will do so tirelessly, fighting for a better deal for the area and its residents. One he knows they deserve. If elected Marcus will never forget that he is working for his constituents in Bridgwater and West Somerset and will be answerable to them when the time to vote comes around again.
