Bill Revans has gained the North Petherton division from the Conservative in the Somerset County Council elections.

A town councillor for the last fourteen years and district councillor for two, Bill has a track record of getting things done, having led initiatives to keep North Petherton Library open, re-opened the public toilets and brought back the Youth Club after it was cut.

He gained the seat, once seen as “safe Conservative” with a swing of 13.4% - the largest swing to the Liberal Democrats in the west of the Somerset County Council area.
